What is a Shadow Hokage for you?

1.- To me, a Shadow Hokage is the invisible hand that wields the sword, so the visible one can raise the banner.

2.- They are the whisper in the dark that keeps peace alive, the weight of choices no one dares to make, the necessary sin behind the noble face.

3.- They seek no glory, only safety. Not the village’s love, only its survival.

4.- A guardian without a statue, but with scars that speak louder than any stone.

5.- A hidden beacon, burning itself so others don’t lose their way.

Activity 2

Hokage: i don’t get why it’s so hard for you to just say things, hokage of the shadows. every time something sketchy happens near the border, you’re already there. like you knew before anyone else. are you gonna tell me what’s going on, or are you hiding that too?

Hokage of the shadows: it’s not about hiding, it’s about protecting.there are things this village isn’t ready to know. things you… as hokage, aren’t ready to accept. sometimes i act first so the decisions don’t destroy what little faith you’ve got left.

hokage: that’s dumb and you know it.

i’m not the same impulsive idiot from before. i’ve watched people who trusted me die. And i’m still here. not ‘cause i’m the strongest, but because refuse to let you carry everything by yourself.

hokage of the shadows:...you talk like your way is the only way.but while you’re talking to elders and g papers, i’ve seen entire villages vanish. sometimes i think you protect the village… and i protect the price it costs.

hokage:and it shouldn’t be like that! if we’re gonna protect this place, it has to be together. even if we think differently. even if the world makes no sense. i didn’t ask you to be my shadow just to watch you turn into a ghost.

hokage of the shadows: ...i don’t know if i know how to be anything else, hokage.but if the day comes when you have to stand against me for what i’ve done… i hope you’ll still call me your friend.

hokage: only if you promise that when you can’t keep going, you’ll walk through that door and say, “i can’t keep going.” you don’t have to carry the world alone, hokage of the shadows.
