Finney lives in a small town with his aggressive father and kind-hearted sister. In the town, there’s a rumor of a sort of boogeyman who steals children. Finney doesn’t believe it himself until he sees a mysterious man who kidnaps him and locks him in a cold dark basement. The only thing he has to the outside world is a black phone which doesn’t work… or does it? The more time he spends in the basement, the more he hears the phone ringing and voices beckoning him to pick it up.
