Welcome, Travelers! We are the QNA subteam of the Steambird dedicated to interviewing of the community and get a sneak peak into who they are! Perhaps you’ll find something in common with them?

LUMI’S ୨୧ INTERVIEW !! — 01 ‧₊˚ ⋅

Q1: Who are you? Preferred name and pronouns are fine

— I'm Lumi and go by mostly she/her but I'm not opposed to they/them either. :)

Q2: How has your experience been on Amino as of late? Any goods, any bads you wanna share?

— My time here hasn't been too good honestly. A lot of things have happened that shouldn't have, but thanks to the current cohost team of khaenri'ah, alias the people who randomly adopted me and let me get platonically married, it was definitely bearable. They made my time here, even before being a co host, very worthwhile so shoutout to them. 🫶

Q3: Speaking of the Genshin Amino, who's a character you're looking forward to pulling, or looking forward to releasing?

— I'm actually looking forward to skirk's release and hopefully pulling her. I'm already saving primos for her.

Q4: If you could C6 R5 a single character, would it be one of your faves or a meta character?

— I'd C6 R5 my Wanderer. I'm already working towards it with saving for his rerun.

Q5: Now that Natlan is well over and done with, what'd you think of the Archon quest (if you've finished it. If not, what do you think of it so far?)

— I finished the archon quest a day before the 5.6 release!! And I was honestly a bit disappointed. There were good elements, yes. The war itself, most cutscenes, it was all good. However, the quest in itself dragged way too long with too little actually significant things happening until you're in a closed-off map that you can't leave. It was a bit sad after the trailers etc hyped it up so much, especially after how well the Fontaine plot line had proceeded.

Q6: If Hoyoverse asked you to choose a company for them to collaborate with, who would you pick? (i.e. McDonald's, Razer, etc)

— I'd honestly have no idea. I found the xiaomi collab with childe very funny personally. :sob: :sob: But for a new proper collab I wouldn't have any specific idea actually.

BUG’S ୨୧ INTERVIEW !! — 02 ‧₊˚ ⋅

Q1: Alright! So first, introduce yourself, what name do you prefer to go by? Anything you would like to share? ( Ex. Hobbies, ect )

— Alright! I go by bugs, i've been playing genshin for about 2 and a half years now. I enjoy theory crafting and gameplay the most! As for hobbies it's mostly gaming, but also writing and drawing!

Q2: Besides being a member, how are you liking it here in the G.I.A community?

— I like it! people here are pretty nice and respectful

Q3: I see you do some drawing here and there, what inspires you to become an artist. How's your progress going?

— I'm not sure if there's one thing that really inspired me lol, it's just something i've been doing since I was a kid and it just stuck. and my progress is a bit bumpy with of art blocks, but i'm taking an art history class right now so i'm getting more into realism than focusing on stylized art

Q4: What is something you would like to see in Genshin Impact? ( Character, Weapon, animals, mapping ect )

— Personally I'd like to see a new kind of banner for older characters that makes them more accessible! i know that technically the chronicled wish can fulfill that role, but it does so very poorly because it has a separate pity from regular character banners and it still requires 90 pulls to be able to guarantee a character, not even the one you want, which makes it even more difficult for save up for those characters than characters who run on regular banners.

I think a banner that would better fulfill this role would be one where it has a lower pity, like you can only go to 50 pity or something. I don't mind not having the whole you can lose your 50/50 to a limited character thing, but for me the most important thing is having the lower pity. These are characters whose' strength simply doesn't match present day meta units, and thus making those weaker units more accessible than the stronger ones would balance out the meta!

Q5: Any characters you would like to see with an alternative outfit?

— Mostly the traveler, i think it would be so cool to have a different traveler outfit for each region! other than that mostly just some older characters, like xiao and sucrose

Q6: If you were a Genshin character, what would your vision and style be based around?

— I haven't thought about it too much, but maybe a hydro catalyst would suit me best! that it was i made my first oc anyways lol

Q7: If you had to cook yourself or someone else a dish from genshin, which one would it be ( why )

— The fried egg cause that's the one dish i know how to cook :sob:
